The Ethiopian Film Industry is rapidly growing. In the last years, with the advent of private TV, production crews are becoming more competitive and the quality of national TV, ads and films are slowly reaching international standards.

The country has recently been importing high-end film equipment and its crew has been benefiting from the advantage of online learning, which has tremendously increased the production value. Today, the film industry is in much better shape than it was years ago, with nothing to envy other top African countries.

In addition to this, international production houses and agencies have recognized the beauty of the Ethiopian landscape and the diversity and warmth of its people, and have started to come frequently to shoot on location, bringing their crews or hiring locals.

Ethiopian films are being screened in the best world film festivals, including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, and others...
